OLD SCHOOL EGG CUSTARD PIE


*Ingredients for 6 people.


°1 pre-spread shortcut dough (here homemade dough...)

°25 cl custard

°3 apples 

°2 tablespoons cornstarch

°40 g butter

°50 g powdered sugar

°20 cl milk

°2 eggs


*The steps

Step 1

Peel the apples and cut into wedges and then each quarter into 3-4 slices.
Step 2

Melt the butter in a large skillet with the sugar and apples, cook over high heat so that the apples caramelize.
Step 3

Preheat oven to th. 6 (180°C).
Step 4

Dilute the cornstarch in the cold milk, beat the eggs and add to the custard, beat well before adding the caramelized and half-candied apples.
Step 5

Place the dough in a buttered pie pan and pour the mixture in.
Step 6

Bake for 50 minutes.
Step 7

Cool and sprinkle with icing sugar.
